Recommendations for product care:
Our shoes are handmade. The leathers and materials used in manufacturing (including metal accessories) can be affected by exposure to friction with other materials and chemicals, climatic factors and external elements that can cause damage to the product. For this reason, we recommend taking care of the products by avoiding rain, exposure to high temperatures, oils and greases, makeup and alcohol (including perfumes) and any other type of abrasive substances.
Leather is not an artificial product, but a completely natural one. Its entire process is designed to maintain these characteristics. Each leather has its own living structure, its own pattern of scars and variations in its tone. That is the reason why each leather is unique and genuine.
Keep in mind that it is normal that when you try on your shoes, they seem a little tight and hard because they are new. Remember that with use, the fibers give way and soften, especially if they are made of genuine leather.
Here are some useful tips to enhance the care of your dance shoes:
— Avoid contact with inks, oils, carbon paper and cosmetics that can cause irreversible damage.
— Do not use a washing machine and/or dryer to clean this product. 🚫
— Do not clean or wash with chemicals, abrasives, detergents, bleaches, or solvents. 🚫
— Leather products are not waterproof and should not get wet.
— If the product gets wet, let it dry at room temperature in the shade, never dry in the sun or at high temperatures.
— Avoid collisions, and friction with surfaces that could break or deteriorate the materials of the product.
— It is advisable to store the garments in open-weave covers that allow ventilation of the product, such as the one delivered with the product, this way, moisture condensation that can harm the good conservation of the material is avoided.
Important: Dance shoes with Suede or Carnaza soles are only designed to be used on smooth floors such as wood, tile, or ceramic; use on rustic floors such as pavement shortens the lifespan of the shoe.
Other essential care tips:
*It is advisable to keep the leather hydrated with colorless waxes or neutral shoe polish for light colors.
*Do not apply any product containing silicone directly to the leather, this material may damage the color of the leather.
Do not directly apply any product containing silicone or acetone on patent leather; these substances can dull or damage the varnish layer of patent leather.
If your patent leather shoes have lost their shine, there are specialized products available to restore their shine and make them look like new. However, for a quick solution, you can dampen a cotton ball with olive oil, petroleum jelly, or baby oil and gently rub it over your shoes for instant shine.
Use a cloth, never a brush, for polishing, as brushes can create scratches on the shoe's surface.
Avoid leaving patent leather shoes near a heat source such as a radiator, as the leather may wrinkle or crack
*For shoes with satin or that contain any synthetic material, it is recommended to use cleaning cream (Frotex®) and clean with a very soft bristle brush or cotton cloth.
*for shoes with suede it is recommended to apply Nubuck spray, apply with gloves as it is very penetrating and difficult to remove from the skin. Under no circumstances use detergent soap to clean the suede.
To allow smoother movements and minimize friction with the floor, the sole of our dance shoes is not made of rubber.
Our shoe sole is crafted with Polyurethane designed to provide a lightweight, flexible sole with high impact absorption for jumps.
Important:
*Do not store them in humid areas.
*Frequent use is recommended to keep the sole in good condition.
*Do not use detergents or soap for this type of material.
*Do not use on stairs (Split sole).
You should consider that, over time, there will be natural wear and tear from use, as with any product. This wear is inevitable and expected over time.
